'FALCON JIGSAW' 1991 - 2001

Many of the young horses we are currently campaigning and breeding are by our stallion Falcon Jigsaw (Jacko), who died not long after we moved to Falcon Park. Jacko was bred by John’s father, and with John began an eventing and showjumping career, winning a Pre Novice event and showing huge talent as a showjumper. Pip began riding him in early 1996 and there is a running joke in the family that she ‘stole’ him from John and turned him into a dressage horse!

Jacko ended his career on 281 points, having won a number of Championships at various levels, including Reserve National Elementary Champion in 1997, Central Coast Advanced Horse of the Year in 1999 and 2000 and Central Coast FEI Champion in 2001. He was a member of the NSW Dressage Squad in 1997.

At present there are over 30 horses which we have bred and/or trained, competing successfully in different parts of the world. Here at Falcon Park we have 15 young horses, some currently being campaigned and some in training. Most of these horses were bred by us and are by our own stallions or by successful stallions in Australia and overseas.

Ringo is a lovely quiet horse and seems to have quite a jump, which is not altogether surprising as he has top jumping bloodlines from both Sire and Dam. Premier des Hayattes competed at World Cup level and was campaigned very successfully by Vicki Roycroft. Strawberry Girl, by Falcon Jigsaw is currently competing with great success with her young rider.

Ringo's dressage is also excellent and at the end of 2010 he was awarded Preliminary Horse of the Year by the Central Coast Dressage Association.

'FALCON BRADDOCK'

September 2011 - Bradock has just been to his first competition at the Hunter Valley Spring Showjumping Championships. He and his rider Jaimee Gowler from NZ took 3rd place in one class and went clear in their next class with just 1 time penalty.

'FALCON FINALE' Bay gelding by Falcon Legacy - Falcon Ladyhawke
December 2006. Nicknamed 'Big', Finale is 17h. He was broken in last year and is now starting to compete.

His first competition was at Somersby Equestrian Club on August 28th. Riden by Will Matthew, Finale competed in two classes with a very good score of 65.2 for his first test.

FALCON DUELLSON  by ABDUELL II

This is a very attractive young horse; very elegant with a beautiful head and neck. He has super paces with excellent hindleg action and is quiet and sensible..

He is coming along beautifully and is now being ridden and competed in SJ and dressage by Jaimee Gowler who is over from NZ spending some time at Falcon Park. Jaimee competed with him at Somersby Dressage Club on August 28th. It was her first dressage competition ever, and his 2nd and they placed 2nd and 3rd.

Jaimee and Duellson competed again on Sept 3rd and 4th at Hunter Valley Spring Showjumping Championships on Sept 3rd/4th. It was Duellson's first SJ Comp which he handled calmly and sensibly. He completed 4 rounds, two clear and two with one down.

'RUBELLIANUS' - 17hh Hanoverian bay gelding. 1997.

Sire: Rebel Z III - dam: St PR Allerliebste
owned by Jill Mooratoff.

Rubellianus (Lumpy to his friends), was bred in Germany and brought to the UK to showjump. He didn't quite make the grade as a showjumper and took up dressage in 2002. His owner Jill Mooratoff who was living in the UK, bought him in 2005 and competed Elementary with him. Both Rubellainus and Jill came to live in Australia in 2008.

Kevin and Sunday were broken in this year and started. They are now having a break before beginning the next stage of their training.

2010/2011 - Falcon Casanova (Beau) by Fiji R out of our lovely Skansen Cloud Nine. Beau is without doubt one of the most beautiful foals we had ever bred and he has now been sold to New Zealand where his new owners are delighted with him.

Zara by Premier des Hayettes/Party. Zara is one of the last foals by Premier, who sadly died last year, and keeping or selling her will be a difficult choice.

Rehearsal by Regardez Moi out of Falcon Gabrielle. Rehearsal is a lovely filly and she is currently for sale.
