FALCON PARK

Developing and establishing Falcon Park.
The year 2000 was a major milestone for John and Pip. They were married at the beginning of the year and then after a lot of searching they settled on a 54 acre property at Peats Ridge/Central Mangrove. The property had been used for cattle and there were no facilities for horses, and so began the daunting task of setting up an equestrian centre.

During the last 18 years they have replaced all the fencing and established 25 paddocks, 16 with lock up shelters and all with water and irrigation. These include 4 five acre paddocks which are used for retired horses, brood mares and young horses.
There is also a 60 x 100 (double) arena, two jumping arenas and an 1800 exercise track. Other major projects have been building a guest cottage for visitors and students and a modern stable block with feedshed and tackroom. 2014 saw the installation two arena mirrors at the West and South side of the arena, extended tackroom and washbays  and a coffee room with TV/Video with some of the best cappuccino in the district. In 2015 we completed the building of 4 new covered yards, 4 open yards plus a a shower/toilet/laundry block for visitors and boarders. However it’s an ongoing project.
